When a content stream on a page contains a named XObject reference, such as /im0 Do, and im0 does not exist in the resource dictionary or the object number it refers to does not exist, the content stream seams to be ignored. It results in a number of objects that differs from what Acrobat is showing when examining the page. Also, the page content might not be rendered properly because of the missing XObject.
Is there any way to get information about the error (i.e. the missing XObject)?
pages_corrupt_page5.pdf (100kb) downloaded 2 time(s).
