I see no other way to do this than to change the source code.

You need modify ScrollToRecord method

Replace a call of
PdfViewer.ScrollToChar(ft.CharIndex);
with a call to
PdfViewer.ScrollToPoint(...);

Hi,
When searching a PDf document using the pdfToolStripSearch component sometime the highlighted results is too close to the top of the page.
Is there a way to scroll the page down a few pixels to make the highlight more visible?
